Client Profile: Spelthorne Rentstart is a charity dedicated to supporting people in housing need. With an active online presence already in place, they required a modern, refreshed website that would reflect the impact of their work and better engage with visitors.
Client’s Objective: The charity’s existing website had become dated and no longer matched their vibrant brand. They needed a bold, modernised design that showcased their values, encouraged visitors to engage with their content, and presented information in a clear, digestible way.
Project Scope: We designed and built a new WordPress website using the Avada theme, applying a 25% charity discount as part of our ongoing support for non-profits. The redesign focused on bold branding, incorporating their bright green, red, and orange accents alongside the navy blue from their logo. This colour palette was used strategically throughout the site to create energy and draw attention to key areas.
Punchy imagery, touches of animation, and carefully structured content sections ensured the site felt dynamic and engaging. While the site is already substantial, we simplified its structure by reducing the overall number of pages, consolidating content into shorter, more concise sections that are easy to navigate and digest. At the same time, the site was built with scalability in mind, allowing additional pages to be added in the future as needed.
Future Prospects: With its new structure and engaging design, the website provides Spelthorne Rentstart with a powerful platform to share their mission and connect with supporters. The refreshed look and simplified layout help the charity communicate more effectively while ensuring the website remains future-proof and ready to grow.
