Client Profile: Claire McMillan Garden Design is a solo garden and planting designer with an impressive portfolio and many glowing client recommendations. Until now, Claire’s presence was limited to Facebook, Instagram, and word-of-mouth referrals, leaving her without a dedicated digital platform to showcase her expertise or build trust with new clients.

Client’s Objective: Claire needed a website to establish her brand online, giving prospective clients a professional and reliable place to learn about her services, view her work, and get in touch. With only a business card logo and social media presence, her digital identity was virtually non-existent, so our task was to bring it to life in a way that reflected the quality of her garden design projects.

This project for Clare McMillan Garden Design was to focus on creating a clear and elegant online presence to reflect her garden design services.

Project Scope: We created a clean, modern three-page WordPress website using the Avada theme. The homepage introduces Claire, outlines her services, highlights client testimonials, and features a gallery preview. Two additional pages focus on her full gallery and a detailed services page. Instead of a separate contact page, we placed her contact form and details in the footer for simplicity.

The design was heavily influenced by Claire’s stunning high-end imagery, which took centre stage across the site. Accents of green, sharp corners, subtle animations, and soft modern touches brought the brand to life while aligning with her existing logo and the natural aesthetic of her work.

Future Prospects: Although the site is small, it includes everything needed for Claire’s current stage of business, with plenty of room to expand as her services and portfolio grow. We provided a training session so she could confidently manage and update the site herself, while also offering ongoing support as her needs evolve. The structure is SEO-ready, giving Claire the option to invest in search optimisation in the future when the time is right.

Conclusion: This project delivered a clean, crisp, and professional website that showcases Claire’s skills beautifully and gives her business a strong digital foundation. With the ability to grow, the site provides the perfect platform for Claire to continue building trust with new clients while reflecting the quality of her garden design services.
